Allison Pyburn leads the Institute for Currency Studies with a focus on how debt-based currency shapes our relationship with self and the world. Her research combines historical depth with contemporary economic insight, presented through a lens of simplicity.

Our Mission

Our mission is to clearly articulate the nature of debt-based currency, in order to lay the groundwork for a new basis for relationship with ourselves, and with the world. We cannot change, what we cannot see.
